The Waldron's opted for Cabinet Refacing by HWC in their Kitchen. They were satisfied with the "geography" of their Kitchen layout, but wanted to update the look and feel of the room.
HWC experts verified that the existing cabinetry was structurally sound and worked with the Waldron's to select colors, wood species, stain, hardware, flooring and a new countertop.
What's Typically Involved in Refacing
When we reface cabinetry, we replace all the doors and drawer fronts with new doors and drawer fronts made out of high quality wood like Hickory, Oak, Maple, Cherry, Walnut, etc. Samples are available at either of our two HWC Showrooms.
We then laminate every other visible part of the cabinetry, again with high quality materials and installation processes, so that visually, everything that you see when you walk in your Kitchen is actually new, even though your existing cabinets remain and are still doing the job.

New Countertops - New Flooring
The HWC Sales Design Team helped Gary and Carol pick out a new high-definition laminate countertop, by Wilsonart. It LOOKS like a piece of stone from about 3 feet away, but it has the versatility and the cost of a laminate countertop surface!
A new Kitchen sink with faucet hardware helps complete the countertop.
The Waldron's Selected Armstrong Flooring HWC also carries a full line of flooring from name brand manufacturers. The Waldron's had HWC replace their current vinyl floor with another Armstrong product, called "Cushionstep®". We have some this exact ame flooring on the floor in our South Showroom and it is astonishing at how much it looks - and feels! - like hardwood. Yet, it has the durability, practicality and cost of a high quality vinyl floor!
A Kitchen Reface project usually runs about 2/3 of the cost of a full Kitchen remodel project with installation times of about 1/2 that of a full remodel.
Your HWC Sales Design Team Rep can explain all the details and differences and help you select the best option for the Kitchen in YOUR home!
